If you want to go someplace local with a pretty good selection of art supplies, UArt is an easy and good place to go.
If you're over the hill, try Palace or Lenz. Sorry, no links here.

Blick Art Materials

Where almost all of our art supplies come from. Great for your own. Even though it's all mail order. Unless you're in the city and they have a store on Market St. there.
