Yes, making stuff is fun, but it's about so much more than that.
Figuring out who you are, how you approach any situation, and realizing that you are capable... all in a low-stakes, low-pressure environment is something I hope every student experiences.
You don't need to be "good". You certainly don't need to be "perfect". You just need to show up and to be willing and together we can succeed together!
Creativity is central to who we are as humans, and getting comfortable as a creative - even if Art 1 is the only Art class you ever take - will benefit everything you do after.
